This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Abdulhamid Albalooshi Advocates & Legal Consultants ("the Firm") is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Our head office is at Sheikh Zayed Road, 14th Floor, Aspin Commercial Tower, Dubai, UAE. You can contact us through the contact form on our home page.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
  • Email and WhatsApp: the details you share when you contact us directly, such as your name, number, and the content of your messages.
  • Technical data: when you visit the website, our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the time of the request.
  • Anti-spam checks: Google reCAPTCHA analyses certain browser and device signals on the contact form to tell humans from bots.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics tools on this page, and we do not set our own cookies. Google reCAPTCHA may use cookies or similar technologies when the form is shown.

3. Why we use your data

  • to reply to your enquiry and decide whether and how we can help;
  • to protect the website and form against spam, abuse and security threats;
  • to keep records required by law, professional rules or to deal with legal claims; and
  • to keep the website working properly.

We rely on your consent when you send us a message, on our legitimate interest in running and securing the website, and on legal obligations where they apply. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who receives your data

We share data only with service providers needed to run the website and handle your enquiry:

  • Netlify, which hosts the website and receives form submissions on our behalf;
  • Google, which provides reCAPTCHA and Google Maps (when you open our location link);
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there; and
  • our email provider, when you email us or when form submissions are forwarded to our inbox.

We may also disclose data when required by law, a court or a competent authority.

5. Transfers outside the UAE

Some of these providers store or process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is protected in line with applicable law, including the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where it applies to our DIFC office, the DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020.

6. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet our legal and professional record-keeping duties. If we do not take on your matter, we delete or anonymise your data when it is no longer needed.

7. How we protect data

The website is served over encrypted HTTPS connections, protected by security headers, and the contact form uses spam and bot protection. No online system is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive or privileged information through the form until we have agreed to act for you.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time. To make a request, send us a message through the contact form on our home page and mention that it is a privacy request. We may need to confirm your identity first.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the contact form.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
